The Counsellor visited the new state-of-the-art dairy farm in Krasnoselske village to\u00a0be\u00a0launched in August 2013.<\/p>\n

During the visit, Mr. Krajenbrink and Mr. Mykola Kvasha, Deputy Director of Milkiland-Agro, discussed the supplies of high quality milk to Milkiland dairy processing subsidiaries and the\u00a0farm\u2019s social role for the region.<\/p>\n

They also raised the issue of personnel qualification in the dairy sector and local unemployment. Mr. Krajenbrink and Mr. Kvasha discussed the opportunities of the Group\u2019s cooperation with the Agricultural Office of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in order to communicate the experience.<\/p>\n

At Mena Cheese, the plant\u2019s CEO Olena Lazirko showed the production of hard and soft mould cheese to the guest. Experts discussed food quality standards and their relevance to the EU\u00a0regulations, as well as opportunities of cheese exports to the EU after an Association Agreement and a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area agreement are signed.<\/p>\n

Mr. Evert Jan Krajenbrink highly appreciated the dairy farm and Milkiland\u2019s ambition to invest into high quality milk production in Ukraine. He was also impressed by the smooth high-tech production process at Mena Cheese and the personnel dedication, as well as with the high quality of dairy produced there.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s impressive to be here, and to see how cheese is being made here\u201d,said Mr. Krajenbrink.\u201cIt is amazing to see how soft moulded cheese is being made. When you\u2019re in a supermarket buying this kind of cheese, you can\u2019t even imagine with how much love it is being produced\u201d.<\/p>\n
