{"id":1927,"date":"2011-12-28T14:50:25","date_gmt":"2011-12-28T11:50:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mlkfoods.cy\/2011\/12\/28\/milkiland-some-results-of-the-agricultural-segment-development-in-2011\/"},"modified":"2011-12-28T14:50:25","modified_gmt":"2011-12-28T11:50:25","slug":"milkiland-some-results-of-the-agricultural-segment-development-in-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mlkfoods.cy\/el\/2011\/12\/28\/milkiland-some-results-of-the-agricultural-segment-development-in-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"Milkiland: some results of the Agricultural Segment development in 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During 2011 Milkiland concentrated its efforts at acquisition of agricultural subsidiaries in order to strengthen the Group\u2019s raw materials supply chain.<!--more--> As a result, 4 new agricultural companies located in Chernigiv oblast were acquired, the arable land bank of the Group increased by one third to almost 20.9 thousand hectares, the milking cows headcount reached c. 2900.<\/p>\n<p>Based\u00a0on\u00a0this background the\u00a0in\u2011house raw milk production in 2011 more than doubled in comparison with 2010 to\u00a0c.10.8\u00a0thousand tons.<\/p>\n<p><i>Comment of the Director of Agricultural Department of Milkiland Bogdan Cheremkha: \u201cWe was happy to\u00a0achieve the positive results in the development of our Agri-segment in 2011. We aim our activities in\u00a0the next year at\u00a0increase of arable land bank of the Group and further rise of in-house milk production\u201d.\u00a0<\/i><br \/>\n<i><\/i><br \/>\n<i>Comment of CEO of Milkiland N.V.
