Milkiland was founded in 1994 as a small dairy trading business, and since that time has grown into a leading international dairy Group with strong reputation of high-quality producer in the countries of its operations, including Ukraine, Poland and third countries markets.<\/p>\n

Milkiland has grown mainly by acquiring and modernizing dairy plants. The milestones of our development are outlined below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

  • In January, the parent company was renamed MLK Foods PCL. This renaming is due to the fact that due to a decrease in milk production and a decrease in the workload of production facilities, the group decided to produce non-dairy products at unloaded production facilities.<\/li>\n
  • In February, all operations of the group in Russia were terminated<\/li>\n
  • In February – April, 4 enterprises were in the zone of occupation and hostilities<\/li>\n
  • 4 enterprises were transferred from natural gas to firewood. Whey drying was switched to liquefied gas at 1 enterprise<\/li>\n
  • Since July, after the devaluation of the hryvnia, 2 plants of the group have started working for export<\/li>\n
  • The Polish court did not consider the claim to invalidate the contract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2021<\/td>\n\n

  • The Group sold its agricultural assets and closed its obligations to the creditor for the restructuring of bank loans<\/li>\n
  • The group went through the covid period with minimal losses<\/li>\n
  • The Polish partner deceived, the Group joined the claim of Pekao Bank Poland to invalidate the contract<\/li>\n
  • The group sold 2 enterprises and started projects to convert 4 plants to work on wood and liquefied gas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  • The Group has settled all issues with bank creditors with the exception of Pekao Bank Poland<\/li>\n
  • The group has found a partner in Poland who has committed to repay the debt to Pekao Bank Poland<\/li>\n
  • The activities of JSC “Ostankino Dairy Plant” was terminated<\/li>\n
  • The activities of Kursk-Moloko LLC are intercepted by the Nevskiye Sysy group<\/li>\n
  • In Russia, only licensed cheese production and trading activities remain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2014-2019<\/td>\n\n

  • In connection with the attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine and the introduction of an embargo by the Russian Federation on the supply of dairy products from Ukraine and the EU countries, the group lost markets for its businesses and suffered significant losses. These events required the search for a lender and the restructuring of the loan portfolio<\/li>\n
  • In Russia, Sberbank JSC began bankruptcy proceedings for Ostankino Dairy Plant OJSC<\/li>\n
  • In Russia, VTB Bank began the bankruptcy of Kursk-Moloko LLC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  • The 1-st stage of modern dairy farm with 1,600 milking cows headcount was put into operation<\/li>\n
  • The reconstruction of Polish cheese-making plant Ostrowia was finished.\u00a0 The sales of cheese and other dairy goods produced by this plant were started in Poland and other EU countries, export deliveries to Ukraine were opened<\/li>\n
  • The Ostankino Dairy Combine went through rebranding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2011-2012<\/td>\n\n

  • The corporate structure for management of the international business of Milkiland Group was established<\/li>\n
  • Milkiland-Agro subsidiary was established to control an agri-farms acquired for the development of in-house milk production<\/li>\n
  • Milkiland-Intermarket subsidiary was established with a task of entering of new markets, fulfillment of operations in the international dairy commodity markets<\/li>\n
  • The first asset of the Group in EU \u2013 cheese making plant Ostrowia in the Republic\u00a0 of Poland was acquired<\/li>\n
  • Milkiland EU subsidiary was established to control the Group\u2019s operations in Poland and other EU countries<\/li>\n
  • Milkiland had supported the development of dairy cooperatives movement in Ukraine thorough partner dairy cooperative \u201cMoloko Kraina\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
