In 2018 Milkiland\u2019s management did a lot to preserve the positive results achieved in 2017 in the most important spheres, such as the development in the new export markets, introduction of new products, as\u00a0well as further localisation of cheese production in the key market of Russia.<\/p>\n

In particular, Milkiland successfully continued supplies of Kosher dairy products to Israel, made new steps towards the expansion in a Chinese dairy market by selling butter and dry milk, strengthened the position in the Central Asia countries markets, namely, in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The\u00a0Group\u00a0successfully continued to build up cheese production in Russia, inter alia, by\u00a0manufacturing of new high-quality types of this product for the Russian customers.<\/p>\n

At the same time, stagnating demand for dairy goods in Russia, unfavourable global market environment for sales of dry milk products, the main export product of the Ukrainian business of Milkiland, led to the slide in the Group\u2019s financials in the last year.<\/p>\n

The Group\u2019s top-line declined in 2018 by 5.6% to c. EUR 133 million, while EBITDA dropped by 79% to\u00a0c.\u00a0EUR 2.1 million on y-o-y basis.<\/p>\n

About Milkiland<\/strong><\/p>\n

Milkiland is diversified dairy producer operating in Russia, Ukraine and Poland, offering a wide range of dairy products such as fresh dairy, cheese and butter, to satisfy consumers in their everyday needs for healthy and tasty foods.<\/p>\n

In Russia, the Group produces fresh dairy products at Moscow-based LLC \u201cOstankino Milk Combine\u201d and sells under \u201cOstankinskoye\u201d brand. Also, our cheese under international Dobryana brand is\u00a0sold in\u00a0most of Russian regions.<\/p>\n

In Ukraine, the Group operates 10 plants and offers wide range of fresh dairy, cheese and butter under Dobryana and Kolyada brands.<\/p>\n

In Poland, Milkiland controls Ostrowia cheese plant in the city of Ostr\u00f3w Mazowiecka and sells its products locally under Ostrowia brand and for export under international Milkiland brand.<\/p>\n

Milkiland exports dairy products from Ukraine to over 30\u00a0countries.<\/p>\n

Shares of Milkiland N.V. \u2013 the Dutch holding company of the Group has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since December 6, 2010.<\/p>\n
