Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined DE \u201cMilkiland Ukraine\u201d<\/p>\n
Kiev, 31 December 2010<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (\u201cAMCU\u201d) by\u00a0its\u00a0resolutions dated 30 December 2010 imposed a\u00a0fine of UAH60 thousand (approx.\u00a0EUR5,7\u00a0thousand)\u00a0at\u00a0DE\u00a0\u201cMilkiland\u00a0Ukraine\u201d for non-obtaining the prior AMCU merge control approvals of\u00a0indirect purchasing of the shares in the capital of OJSC \u201cChernigiv Diary Plant\u201d and direct purchasing of the shares in the capital of LLC\u00a0\u201cMolochni Vyroby\u201d (both\u00a0situated\u00a0in the city of\u00a0Skvira, Kiev\u00a0region, Ukraine).<\/p>\n
By these resolutions AMCU also permitted DE \u201cMilkiland Ukraine\u201d to\u00a0obtain the control of\u00a0OJSC\u00a0\u201cChernigiv Diary Plant\u201d and of LLC\u00a0\u201cMolochni Vyroby\u201d\u00a0with some conditions to\u00a0be\u00a0fulfilled, including the imposing of economically sound prices for raw milk and\u00a0non-limitation of the competition in the local milk market of Chernigiv region where these companies carry on their business.<\/p>\n

We also would like to admit that AMCU granted us with the retrospective approvals of the transactions of the\u00a0acquisition of OJSC\u00a0\u201cChernigiv Diary Plant\u201d and of LLC\u00a0\u201cMolochni Vyroby\u201d pertaining the\u00a0establishment of the Milkiland\u00a0Group and accomplished in the year 2007.<\/i><\/p>\n
In our view such decision of AMCU is one of the results of the implementation of our policy aimed at the development of\u00a0the transparent business in line with the public status of Milkiland N.V.\u201d \u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
