Milkiland Group expresses a gratitude to Ukrainian authorities for settlement of the issue of resumption of the export of Ukrainian cheese to Russia

Milkiland Group expresses its gratitude to the Government authorities of Ukraine, first of all, Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine, Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine, State veterinary and phytosanitary Service for putting a significant  efforts to resumption of the export of Ukrainian cheese to the market of Russian Federation.

“Active position of the Government authorities of Ukraine, including their constant participation in the negotiations with the Russian side, significantly contributed to the settlement of the issues related to the export of the Ukrainian cheese to Russian Federation and lifting the respective export limitations imposed by Rospotrebnadzor.
We’d like to stress our special gratitude to the Minister of the economic development and trade of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko for his personal efforts aimed at the reaching the agreements with Rospotrebnadzor, extremely important for the dairy industry of Ukraine” – stated Anatoliy Yurkevych, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Milkiland N.V.

Earlier, on 23 May 2012 Mena cheese plant resumed the cheese export to Russia, some bathes of cheese produced by the plant were delivered to Russia and obtained a clearance from Russian customs authorities. These produce will be delivered to the Russian customers soon.
